Everything You Need to Know About Our ThermRite PRO Panels
ThermRite PRO 16 mm UFH Panel
The ThermRite PRO 16mm panel is a slim, dual-purpose underfloor-heating overlay — built with a high-strength EPS400 insulation core and a factory-bonded 200-micron aluminium heat-reflective foil layer. At just 16mm thick, it’s ideal where you need minimal floor build-up — for instance when installing over existing screed or timber floors. It supports multiple floor finishes (tile, vinyl, wood, laminate) and securely retains 12mm multilayer pipe in pre-formed grooves at 150mm centres — no extra pipe fixings needed.
ThermRite PRO 20 mm UFH Panel
The ThermRite PRO 20mm panel offers slightly deeper insulation and pipe-accommodating grooves — making it a versatile, low-profile heating overlay for new installations or renovations. Made from EPS400 rigid insulation topped with a 200-micron aluminium foil, it balances strong heat output, load-bearing capacity and compatibility with a wide range of floor finishes (tile, vinyl, wood, laminate). The precise grooves hold 16 mm multilayer pipe securely at 150mm spacing — eliminating the need for clips — allowing for a quick, clean installation.
ThermRite PRO Adhesive 500 ml
The ThermRite PRO Adhesive is formulated especially to bond PRO panels firmly to a stable existing floor (screed or plywood deck) when using tile, vinyl, or bonded finishes. For floating wood or laminate floors, adhesive is not required — the panels simply lie over the subfloor, offering a flexible, easy-to-install solution.
Why ThermRite PRO Boards Are a Great Choice for UFH Projects
Low-profile design: With thicknesses of only 16mm or 20mm, PRO boards are perfect for retrofit projects or where door thresholds and ceiling heights are critical.
Dual-purpose versatility: Both bonded finishes (tile, vinyl) and floating floors (wood, laminate) are supported — reducing the need to stock multiple floor systems.
Strong thermal performance & stability: EPS400 insulation combined with reflective foil ensures efficient, even heat distribution, while maintaining structural integrity under normal floor loads.
Simple installation: Pre-formed grooves hold pipes securely (no extra clips), and optional adhesive makes installation straightforward over existing floors.
Flexibility for builders and homeowners: Because the final floor finish can be chosen later, PRO panels are ideal when the project is phased or finishes aren’t decided when heating is installed.
