Everything You Need to Know About Our HeatBoard Routed Chipboard Panels
HeatBoard Fusion – Structural Two-Part Chipboard & Fibre Cover Board System
HeatBoard Fusion pairs a 22mm routed chipboard base with a 6mm foil-backed, moisture-resistant fibre cover board — giving a total build-up of just about 28 mm, so you don’t raise floor height. It’s designed to replace a standard timber floor deck on joists (up to 600 mm centres), making it ideal for new builds and renovations where you want a dry-fit, structural underfloor heating solution without screed. The foil-coated cover board improves heat transfer and adds moisture resistance — while the routed chipboard channels hold 12mm UFH pipes for efficient, even underfloor heating distribution.
HeatBoard ONE 1200x600 mm – Easy Lay 22 mm Grooved Chipboard Panel
This panel is a straight-forward, all-in-one grooved chipboard board: 22 mm thick, with pre-grooved channels that securely hold heating pipes. It’s moisture-resistant, easy to handle and install — making it a go-to for retrofit or new-build underfloor heating projects.
HeatBoard ONE MAX 2400x600 mm – All-in-One Grooved Chipboard Panel
For larger rooms or open-plan spaces, HeatBoard ONE MAX offers extended coverage (2400 mm length) and simplifies installation with fewer joins. It’s still a 22mm grooved chipboard panel, designed for underfloor heating pipes — a practical choice when you want to cover big floor areas with an efficient UFH system.
HeatBoard ULTRA – High Output Grooved Chipboard with Aluminium Plates
HeatBoard ULTRA upgrades the standard grooved chipboard system by integrating aluminium heat-diffusion plates inside the grooves, significantly boosting heat distribution and speed of warm-up. It combines structural flooring and underfloor heating in one — ideal for joisted floors, and for projects needing robust heat output and efficient performance.
ThermRite 6 mm Fibre Cement Cover Boards – Cover Layer for HeatBoard ONE Systems
These 6mm fibre cement boards are designed to overlay HeatBoard ONE (and compatible systems) to create a durable, water-resistant, heat-conductive surface ready for tiled or other floor finishes. They’re especially useful in bathrooms, kitchens or other areas where moisture resistance and durability matter — providing an even, stable surface that enhances longevity and performance of the UFH system.
Why HeatBoard ONE & Fusion Panels Matter — For Flooring & UFH Projects
Structural & floor-deck replacement with heating built in: HeatBoards replace a traditional floor decks and add underfloor heating — a good solution when you want to rebuild or renovate suspended timber floors.
Integrated underfloor heating + floor deck: HeatBoard ONE, MAX, and ULTRA combine floor decking and heating — saving you from needing separate decking + overlay.
Flexible installation: Ranged sizes (1200 mm, 2400 mm), grooved chipboard boards, and optional cover boards allow you to tailor the system to room size, floor type, and project scope.
Efficient heating & good heat transfer: Grooved channels, aluminium diffuser plates (in ULTRA), or foil-backed cover boards (in Fusion) maximize thermal performance and ensure even heating.
Ready for common finish types: Once installed, the systems can support tiles, vinyl, laminate, engineered wood, or other standard flooring — depending on board type and cover options.
Moisture resistance & durability: Options such as foil-faced cement cover boards help protect the system against moisture and wear, making the solution suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or high-traffic zones.
