The Profix™ Panel is a revolutionary underfloor heating solution offering exceptionally high heat output in a low-profile 15mm system. Engineered for speed, simplicity, and thermal efficiency, the Profix™ system is ideal for retrofit and low-build installations—delivering performance that outshines traditional grooved insulation boards.
Designed specifically for 12mm pipe at 150mm centres, the unique panel structure allows for the self-levelling screed to fully encapsulate the pipe, creating a greater thermal mass and maximising heat transfer across the full surface of the pipe—not just the top portion.
Thanks to its interlocking design and modular 600mm x 600mm panel size, the Profix™ Panel is fast and simple to install. It can be laid over a range of floor types, and depending on your floor finish, it can be used with or without a self-levelling compound for maximum flexibility.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What pipe size is compatible with the Profix™ Panel?
The panel is designed for use with 12mm underfloor heating pipe, laid at 150mm centres.
- How does the Profix™ Panel provide higher heat output than grooved insulation boards?
Unlike traditional grooved boards, the Profix™ system allows the self-levelling compound to fully surround the pipe, creating a larger thermal mass and allowing better heat transfer from the full surface of the pipe.
- What is the total system depth with a self-levelling layer?
The base panel is 15mm thick. With a thin self-levelling layer added (typically 3mm above the pipe), the full build-up can remain 18mm, depending on the finish.
- Can this system be used without screed?
Yes, in some applications such as under wood, laminate, or carpet, the Profix™ system can be installed as a dry system without a self-levelling compound.
- Is insulation included with the panels?
Insulation is optional. You can choose from 3mm, 6mm or 10mm Profix insulation, either pre-bonded to the panels or purchased separately.
