Everything You Need to Know About Our Tile Direct Panels

18mm ThermRite HIGH OUTPUT Low Profile Floor Panel

The 18mm High Output Low Profile panel is a slim, XPS-based underfloor-heating board with pre-grooved channels for pipes at 150mm centres — designed for direct tile installation over existing floors. It’s ideal when minimal floor build-up is required and you want efficient, even heating under tiles in bathrooms, kitchens or other tiled areas.

ThermRite 25mm Solid Floor UFH Panel

This 25mm panel uses high-strength XPS foam (300 kPa compressive strength) with pre-grooved tracks for 16mm underfloor-heating pipe at 150mm centres, ideal for tile and stone floor finishes. It offers robust insulation, stability and structural support — suited to both domestic and commercial applications, and performs especially well in rooms with heavy foot traffic or heavier tile/stone finishes.

ProTile20 Cementitious Insulation Panel

The ProTile20 is a 20mm cementitious overlay panel for underfloor heating systems — combining a strong XPS core with a cementitious top layer for superior heat conduction and high load-bearing capacity. It’s designed for tile or stone floors laid directly on top (no screed needed), making it a great choice when you want a lower-profile system with efficient thermal performance and a durable, hard-wearing finish.

ThermRite PRO Adhesive 500ml

ThermRite PRO Adhesive gives a reliable bond for Solid Floor and Tile-On-Panel installations — essential when installing panels over screed or suitable plywood decks before tiling or levelling. It ensures panels remain fixed and stable, helping prevent movement or shifting underfoot — a key step for a secure, lasting finish.

Why ThermRite Solid Floor Panels are Ideal for Tile-On-Panel Installations

Low profile build-up — Boards from 18mm up ensure minimal floor height increase, useful in renovations or where door-clearances and ceiling heights matter.

Strong insulation + high compressive strength — Panels use XPS or cementitious materials designed for tile/stone floors, offering stability under heavy loads and efficient heat retention.

Pre-grooved for UFH pipes — Grooves at standard 150 mm spacing for 12mm or 16mm pipes speed up installation and ensure even heat distribution.

Direct tile application — Many panels accept tiles or stone finishes directly (after pipe installation), removing necessity for bulky screeds — saving time and reducing floor buildup.

Suitable for a range of project types — Whether domestic bathrooms, kitchens, or commercial spaces with tile or stone floors, the Solid Floor system adapts to varying load, insulation, and space requirements.
